The following paths a valid for the con󰈡guration via HMI. At the con󰈡guration
via ToolKit the path hierarchy might be di󰈠erent.
1. ▷
Set the application mode (parameter 8992) of the LS-5 device to
A01
.
2. ▷
To con󰈡gure measurement navigate to [Parameter / Con󰈡guration / Measurement
con󰈡g.] and enter the desired settings.
3. ▷
When tapping voltages over power transformer, phase angle compensation
may be required.
If a phase angle compensation is required, navigate to [Con󰈡guration / Application
con󰈡g. / Breakers con󰈡g. / Synchronization con󰈡g. / Phase angle compensation]

Component damage
Incorrect settings may cause erratic system behavior and damage to the
involved components .
• Set the values carefully and double check with a voltmeter at the
according breaker.
4. ▷
If control to open and close the breaker should be handled by discrete inputs, use the
default setting according to the wiring diagram (╚═▷ “3.3.2 Wiring Diagram”).
5. ▷
If control to open and close the breaker should be handled by communication interface,
the register with the remote control bits is used (LM Command variables 04.44 to 04.59,
Bit 1 to Bit 16).

Con󰈡gure the breaker close command
• To con󰈡gure the close command CBA, the LogicsManager equation "Enable close
CBA" can be modi󰈡ed.
Navigate to [Con󰈡guration / Application con󰈡g. / Breakers con󰈡g. / Con󰈡gure CBA /
Enable close CBA] and enter the desired arguments.
• To con󰈡gure the close command CBB, the LogicsManager equation "Enable close
CBB" can be modi󰈡ed.
Navigate to [Con󰈡guration / Application con󰈡g. / Breakers con󰈡g. / Con󰈡gure CBB /
Enable close CBB] and enter the desired arguments.

Con󰈡gure the breaker open command
• To con󰈡gure the open command CBA, the LogicsManager equation "Open CBA
immed." can be modi󰈡ed.
