Operation Modes
The LS-5 o󰈠ers two operation modes:
AUTOMATIC (AUTO)
MANUAL (MAN)
... and an internal (non) operating phase during starting the device itself
The plastic housing (HMI) version of the LS-5 enables to select an operation mode by
pressing the according button at the front panel if current settings allow this function.

Modes”.

Synch. Check Functionality
General notes
To use the LS-5 synchronization check functionality (Sync. Check) there are three
command variables available for LogicsManager™:
02.29 Sync. Condition
02.30 Dead Bus Closure Condition
02.28 Sync. Check Relay
WARNING!
No dead bus interlocking!
Synch. Check is intended to be a redundant check function enhancing system security.
Don't use for CBA or CBB control!
