Not all of the accessories illustrated or described are included
as standard delivery.
Intended Use
The machine is designed for drilling in concrete,
brick and stone as well as for chiselling. It is also suit-
able for drilling without impact in wood, metal,
ceramic and plastic.
The user is responsible for damage caused by usage
other then intended.
Initial Operation
Observe correct mains voltage: The voltage of the
power source must agree with the voltage specified
on the nameplate of the machine.
Mounting the side handle (see figure A)
Only work with the machine if the side han-
dle is mounted.
Loosen the grip of the side handle 10.
Put the side handle into the desired position.
Firmly tighten the grip of the side handle.
Adjusting the depth rod (see figure B)
Push button 4 for depth stop 5.
Adjust the depth rod to match the desired drilling
depth.
Release button for depth stop.
Selecting the operating mode
Only use the mode selector
switch 6 after the machine has
come to a full stop.
Press the release button 7 down.
Set the mode selector switch to the desired setting
and then let go of the release button.

Reversing the Rotational Direction
Operate the rotational direction switch 8
only at a standstill.
The rotational direction switch 8 is used to reverse
the rotational direction of the machine. However, this
is not possible with the On/Off switch 9 pressed.
Right Rotation
Turn the rotational direction
switch through to the left stop
(normal operation: drilling).
Left Rotation
Press the rotational direction
switch through to the right stop.
