Automatic Release (Timer)
The automatic release can be used when meas-
uring and holding the target plate at the same
time is required.
– Press pushbutton briefly to start a 5 second
countdown.
– By pressing buttons , the countdown
can be prolonged to 60 seconds.
The countdown starts immediately after releas-
ing the button or, when the laser was not acti-
vated, after pressing button .
Each of the last 5 seconds is indicated acousti-
cally.
Determining a Solid Angle
The angle in a triangle can be calculated by
measuring the three sides. This function, as an
example, can be used for checking α
right-angled solid angle α.
– Press pushbutton until the symbol
appears in the display. Mark the marking
point right and left of the angle to be meas-
ured.
– Position the device on each side respectively,
press the pushbutton and measure both
of the short distances (d
1
, d
2
) one after
another.
– Position the device, press the pushbutton
and measure the long distance (d
3
).

Maintenance and Cleaning
❏ Do not use aggressive cleaning agents; use a
soft, moist cloth.
❏ Clean the optics using a cleaning cloth for
glasses or lenses.
❏ Do not attempt to open the device.
If the machine should happen to fail despite the
care taken in manufacture and testing, repair
should be carried out by an authorized cus-
tomer service agent for Würth power tools.
