The VFD controller is adjusted at the factory to the values displayed in the chart below.
All AVI Hoods are functionally tested at the factory. Operation is verified, and adjust-
ments are made to ensure proper operation. However, field conditions are sometimes different
than factory conditions. These variables make it necessary to have an authorized service techni-
cian verify operation and make field adjustments if needed. The following items must be checked
and verified to meet the specifications and requirements stated in this manual prior to the hood be-
ing commissioned:
Correct fan rotation
Balanced make-up air
The Initial Start-Up Checklist must be completed at time of installation, signed by the Cus-
tomer and returned to XLT Ovens to initiate Warranty Policy.
If you require either more or less air flow, follow these steps:
1. Press & hold the <HOOD LIGHT> and <XLT LOGO> buttons to enter into factory tech mode.
2. Use the Up/Down arrows to reach manual air balance.
3. Press and hold <ENTER> button for 3 seconds. Entire row will flash.
4. Scroll to desired oven setting. Press <ENTER>.
5. +/- should flash and it allows +/- change up to 10 Hz.
6. Press <ENTER> to save changes.
7. Press <ON> to test air balance.
