10.1 Controller messages and alarms

Message Remedy
Operation Failed! 1. Retry.
2. Restart the controller.
Please insert USB and retry 1. Retry.
2. Restart the controller.
Failed to detect the USB drive 1. Remove the USB drive.
2. Insert the USB drive.
Failed backing up configuration to USB drive 1. Remove the USB drive.
2. Insert the USB drive.
3. The USB drive is defective. Replace it.
Failed restoring configuration from USB drive 1. Retry.
2. Restart the controller.
Operation timed out 1. Retry.
2. Restart the controller.
Failed 1. Retry.
2. Restart the controller.
No configuration found on USB drive 1. Remove the USB drive.
2. Check the USB drive.
Controller alarms
Alarm Probable cause Remedy
Comms Fail Comms lost to controller. See Check the HMI for faults
(page 37).
Startup Failure Corrupt unit, try full upgrade. See Upgrade the controller
firmware (page 35).
10.2 Check the level sensor and its settings
1. Check the cable connection.
2. Check the level sensor. If applicable, see the Installation, Operation, and
Maintenance manual for the sensor.
3. Check that the configuration settings are correct.
For an analog sensor, make sure that the sensor range is correct.
10.3 Check the HMI for faults
Follow this procedure when the Comms Fail alarm appears.
