What
are
the
coupler
controls
for?
This
function
mixes
the
sound
of
the
solo
keyboard
with
the
sound
of
the
upper
or
pedal
keyboard.
When
the
SOLO
TO
UPPER
tablet
is
set
to
ON:

The
sound
of
the
solo
keyboard
shifts
to
the
upper
keyboard.
m
When
keys
of
two
or
more
notes
are
depressed,
priority
is
given
to
the
high
notes
and
so
only
the
high
note
among
the
notes
of
the
solo
keyboard
is
heard.
m
Even
when
the
solo
keyboard
keys
are
depressed,
the
solo
sound
is
heard.
But
when
the
keys
of
the
upper
keyboard
and
solo
keyboard
are
depressed
simultaneously,
only
one
solo
note
of
the
key
representing
the
higher
note
is
heard.

switch

be
played
by
the
foot
switch,

time
changes

to
the
position

this

SOLO
TO
PEDAL
mode

The
sound
of
the
solo
keyboard
shifts
to
the
pedal
keyboard
and
the
musical
intervals
are
the
same
as
that
of
the
pedal
keyboard
keys.

In
this
situation,
the
solo
keyboard
is
not
func-
tional.

If
the
SOLO
TO
UPPER
and
SOLO
TO
PEDAL
pushbuttons
are
simultaneously
set

What

foot
switch
selectors
for?
These
are
the
four
pushbuttons
on
the
right
of
the
lower
keyboard.
They
determine
the
workings
of
the
foot
switch
which
is
located
on
the
left
of
the
expres-
sion
pedal.

PEDAL
Glide
While
the
foot
switch
is
depressed,
all
the
musical
pitches
being
played
are
reduced
by
a
half
tone
except
for
the
solo
keyboard
notes.

This
function
is
released
if
the
foot
switch
is
released.

The
vibrato
effect
is
canceled
while
the
foot
switch
is
depressed.
Upper
damper
This
tablet
can
be
made
to
play
the
role
of
the
upper
sustain
tablet
in
front
of
the
foot
switch
selectors
but
bear
in
mind
the
following
special
conditions.
