[ENSEMBLE]
The ENSEMBLE section is extremely important, as it cen-
trally controls the voice sections for the Upper and Lower
Keyboards, making it easy to quickly change, add or blend
instruments during a performance. Both the Upper and
the Lower Keyboards have several voice sections available,
each with its own independent sliding volume control. The
ENSEMBLE section allows you to instantly select or can-
cel any of the voices from the various Upper and Lower
Keyboard voice sections.
In FE-50/FE-40, as the diagram below illustrates, the up-
per row of selectors corresponds to the voice sections of
the Upper Keyboard, while the lower row of selectors cor-
responds to the Lower Keyboard voice sections. In FE-30,

there are four buttons respectively corresponding to COM-
BINATION/ORCHESTRA, SPECIAL PRESETS on the
Upper Keyboard and UPPER/LOWER CUSTOM
VOICES. COMBINATION/ORCHESTRA SPECIAL
PRESETS on Lower Keyboard are not related to the EN-
SEMBLE section, and a sound can be obtained by only
pulling the volume slider forward. In addition, the outline
of each of the selectors in the ENSEMBLE section utilizes
the same color as its corresponding voice selectors, mak-
ing it easy for you to quickly locate any voice section on
the control panel.
