3. Starter Motor

4 Disassembly
(1) Disconnect the magnetic switch wiring.
Loosen the M8, nut and disconnect the magnetic switch
wiring.
(3) Remove the rear cover.
1) Remove the two screws holding the brush holder.
2) Remove the two M5 through bolts.
3) Remove the rear cover, using the minus (-) driver.
(2) Remove the magnetic swtich.
Remove the two M6 bolts.
(4) Remove the brush holder.
1) Float the minus (-) brush from the commutator.
2) Remove the plus (+) brush from the brush holder.
3) Remove the armature form the yoke.
