EINSETZEN DER BATTERIEN
CHARGEMENT DE PILE
The shutter and exposure control of your Electro 35 GX will
not function precisely unless the batteries are loaded
properly. Always use two 1.4V mercury batteries (Eveready
E640N, Mallory PX640 or equivalent).
1 Open the Battery Compartment Cover by sliding it in the
direction of the arrow and lifting it up while catching the
groove with the tip of your fingernail. Do not force open the
cover. Open it out as shown in the illustration.
2 Install the mercury batteries by referring to the polarity
diagram in the battery compartment. If their polarity is
reversed, all indicator lamps will fail to come on and the
shutter will fail to function properly.
See that the batteries are set over the plastic tab. When thus
installed, they can be removed from the battery compartment
simply by pulling on the tab.
3 After ascertaining that the batteries are loaded properly,
close the Battery Compartment Cover by giving it a slight push
in the direction of the arrow.

1. Offnen Sie das Batteriefach.
indem Sie den Batteriefachdeckel in
Pfeilrichtung schieben und mit Ihrem
Fingernagel in der Rille nach oben
heben.
Offnen Sie den Deckel nicht mit
Gewalt. Offnen Sie ihn so, wie dies in
der Abbildung ersichtlich ist.
?. Setzen Sie die Quecksilberbat-
terien unter Berucksichtigung der
Polaritatsmarkierungen im Batte¬
riefach ein. Falls ihre Polar itat
umgekehrt ist, leuchten alle Arv
zeigelampen nicht auf und der Ver¬
schluft funktioniert nicht richtig.
Achten Sie darauf, daft die Batterien
auf den Plastikstreifen gesetzt
werden. Wenn die Batterien so
eingesetzt sind, konnen sie entfernt
werden, indem Sie einfach an dem
Plastikstreifen ziehen.
3 . Nachdem Sie sich vergewissert
haben, daft die Batterien richtig
eingesetzt sind, schlieften Sie den
Batteriefachdeckel, indem Sie ihn
leicht in Pfeilrichtung driicken.

1. Ouvrir le couvercle de compar-
timent a pile en le poussant dans le
sens de la fleche puis le soulever tout
en saisissant la rainure avec le bout de
I'ongle
Ne pas ouvrir le couvercle a force.
L'ouvrir comme il est montr£ dans
I’illustration.
7 . Installer les piles au mercure en se
r6ferant au schema de polarit6 dans le
compartiment a pile. Si leur polarit6
est inversee, toutes les lampes in-
dicatrices ne s'allumeront pas et
l'obturateur ne fonctionnera pas con
venablement.
S'assurer que les piles soient placees
sur la languette en plastique. De cette
faqon, elles pourront Gtre enlev^es du
compartiment a pile simplement en
tirant sur la languette.
Apr6s s'Stre assur6 que les piles
sont chargees convenablement. re-
fermer le couvercle du compartiment
a pile en le poussant I6g6rement dans
le sens de la fleche.
