I n order to obtai n perfect ex po sure of the prime
subj
ect when shooting against light, it is necessary
to give from twice
to four times the normal
ex po sure. The range of exposure adjustment in
this case dep ends upon the intensity of the light
in th e background.
1.
I n case the I ight in th e backgrou nd is of
compa ratively l ow intensity, open the lens
aperture by one setting.
If th e correct exposu re setting is f/1 1 at 1/ 125
sec., set
the aperture at f/S.
2. I n case of exceedingly bright background;
open the lens aperture by two settings.
If correct expos ure determined according to
normal method is f/11 at 1/125 sec., turn the
aperture ring and adjust the aperture setting
to f/5.6
