Yashica Lynx-14E - Using the Self-Timer; Self-Timer Operation

By using the se lf-ti mer, you can put yourself in
the picture.
CD Set the sync se l ec tor lever to "X".
@ Charge the shutter by winding the film advance
lever.
@ Set the self-timer by moving the se lf -timer lever
l
ocated on the b otto m of th e lens barre l in the
direction of the arrow (See lower left photo).
Secure focus (if you are all al one, focus on the
spot where you plan to stand), press the shutter
release button, set yourse lf at th e predeterm ined
posit ion without delay and face the camera.
The self-timer trips the shutter approximate ly 7
to 8 seconds after the shutter release is pressed.
