Grease Replenishment
(Refer to Fig. 9-5 “S-Axis Speed Reducer (After the Cover Removal)”.)
1. Posture the R- and L-axes as shown in Fig. 9-5.
2. Remove the hexagon socket head plugs PT1/8 on the So grease
exhaust port and the Si grease inlet.
So: Grease exhaust port
Hexagon socket head plug PT1/8
S-axis speed reducer
Si: Grease inlet
Hexagon socket head plug PT1/8
If grease is added without removing the hexagon socket
head plugs PT1/8, the internal pressure will increase and
may cause a damage.
Never fail to remove the hexagon socket head plugs PT1/8
before the grease injection.
