9.6 Axis motors
For the all axis motors, there are holes for grease-leakage detection. Remove the screws
from the holes to check for grease leaking from the motor. For these procedures of each
axis, refer to figure “Positions of grease-leakage detection hole".
When grease leakage is detected, contact YASKAWA representative.
For the * ”parts, the screw whose head faces to the ground must be removed to check the
hole.
Move the robot to make the either one of screws marked with “*” face to the ground and
remove it to check the hole.
Positions of grease-leakage detection hole (S-,L-axis)
1 screw M4 x 6 mm* screw (Tighten-
ing torque: 0.75 Nm)
Grease-leakage check operation is
necessary for wall-, tilt-, and ceiling-
mounted, but not for floor-mounted
type.
Enlarged view shows the example of
floor-mounted type.
Positions of grease-leakage detection hole (U-,R-axis)
1 screw M4 x 6 mm* screw (Tighten-
ing torque: 0.75 Nm)
