Recording Videos
You can record videos to the system memory (only applicable to VC200), a USB flash drive or your computer.
The recorded videos will be saved in .mkv format and named as the recorded time and date. In addition, if the
administrator has enabled server recording permission for your YMS account, you can use server recording to save
the video on the server during the meeting.
About this task
To record videos to your computer, you need to purchase a WPP20 wireless presentation pod. To record videos to a
USB flash drive, the USB flash drive you connect should support FAT 32 and NTFS format.
For more information on server recording permissions during meetings and how to get videos from the server, please
contact your administrator.

Recording Local Videos
By default, the recorded video is local video. For VC880/VC800/VC500/PVT980/PVT950, the recorded video is
saved on the connected USB flash drive. For VC200, if a USB flash drive is not connected, the recorded video is
saved directly in the local storage; if a USB flash drive is connected, it is saved on the USB flash drive by default.
Before recording the video, your system should meet the following requirements:
• For VC880/VC800/VC500/PVT980/PVT950, make sure the administrator has enabled USB and screenshots
features.
For VC200, make sure the administrator has enabled screenshots feature. And if you need to store video locally,
local storage should be enabled; if you need to store video on the USB flash drive, USB feature should be enabled.
• Make sure that VC200 or USB flash drive has enough storage space.
Tip: For VC880/VC800/VC500/PVT980/PVT950, select More > Record > Storage Info to view the USB
storage; For VC200, select More > File Manager to view local or USB storage.
