4.5 Synchronous Operation I/O (SYNC)
CAUTION
• Do not short the synchronous operation I/O connector or apply an external voltage to it. If
you do, the instrument may malfunction.
• Use a connection cable (701982-01, 701982-02). Do not use any other cables. If you do,
the instrument may malfunction.
• Do not connect this instrument to an instrument other than a DLM5034, DLM5038,
DLM5054, or DLM5058. Doing so may damage the instrument, the connection cable, or
the connected device.

• Ne pas court-circuiter le connecteur d’E/S à fonctionnement synchrone et ne pas lui
appliquer de tension externe. Si vous le faites, l’instrument pourrait mal fonctionner.
• Utiliser un câble de connexion (701982-01, 701982-02). Ne utiliser aucun autre câble. Si
vous le faites, l’instrument pourrait mal fonctionner.
• Ne pas connecter cet instrument à un instrument autre qu’un DLM5034, DLM5038,

Synchronous Operation I/O Connector (SYNC)
You can connect this instrument to another DLM5034, DLM5038, DLM5054, or DLM5058 through
the synchronous operation I/O.
To connect to another DLM5034, DLM5038, DLM5054, or DLM5058, use an optional accessory
connection cable (701982-01, 701982-02). Note that to use synchronous operation (DLMsync), a
separate option is required.
