MICRO LOGIC BOARD DIP SWITCH

A Dip Switch (U39) with 7 miniature rocker switches is
located on the Micro Logic Board (Fig. 51). These
switches must be configured properly before starting the
chiller. See the list on the right and set up the switches
as required.

1 = OFF: Computed RWT Setpoint (Page 59) or De-
sired LWT Setpoint (Page 58) falls into the
range of –9.9°C to 0°C
ON: Computed RWT Setpoint (Page 59) or De-
sired LWT Setpoint (Pages 59 & 60) falls into
the range of 0° to 9.9°C.
2 = OFF: Low Ambient Cutout = 1.7°C
ON: Low Ambient Cutout adjustable –17.8 to
10°C (R1 Combo Board)
3 = OFF: RWT Control (Standard as Shipped)
ON: LWT Control
4 = OFF: No EMS Control (No Digital Input Board,
Standard As Shipped)
ON: EMS Control (Optional Digital Input Board In-
stalled)
5 = OFF: 4 Stage Control (Standard as Shipped)
ON: 8 Stage Control (Optional as ordered for 5,
6, 7, or 8 stage control)
6 = Spare
7 = OFF: Automatic lead/lag compressor time sharing
by Micro. Micro accumulates run time on both
systems. On a SYS 1 shutdown, run times
on both compressors are compared and a
decision is made as to which system (sys-
tem with least run time) to put in the lead.
ON: Manual Sys 1 lead/lag selection via Control
Panel (Standard as shipped).

*Refer to above sketch to identify “OFF” and “ON” positions.
The “dot” can be misleading when identifying switch position.
See the “Side View” drawings for recommended position
verification.
**Micro Logic Boards for Standard, Brine, and Metric duty are identi-
cal. Only the EPROMs are changed.
