3 Administrative Functions
The administrative functions should be configured prior to Multi-Channel Online Monitor operations settings. The
various administrative functions can be programmed by users who have the access rights to do so. The
administrative functions include user accounts and permissions, date and time, network IP address, mail server
settings, OPC connectivity, audit archiving and password changes. Most of these functions will only require an
initial configuration during the Multi-Channel Online Monitor installation.
3.1 Logging into Administration
1. Enter the preset username and password. The preset username and password are “admin” and
admin”, respectively.

2. Press the Login button
3. If the login is successful, the following screen will appear. The user may now begin to use the
administrative functions outlined in the following sections.
Type the password as shown. The password is case sensitive.
It is recommended to change the password after the first login. Section 3.5 Changing the
Administrative Password, describes the procedure for changing the password.
