4.5.5 Analog Output Configuration
With this option, the analyzer value, i.e., glucose (g/L), is communicated as 0 5V signal from the Multi-Channel Online
Monitor to a bioreactor controller. The bioreactor uses the analog signal to control its own feedback control system. The
Multi-Channel Online Monitor itself does not perform the feed control.
1. From the Settings tab, scroll down and select the Output Configuration button.
2. For each vessel, use the dropdown menu to select the Voltage Output option for that vessel. Each
Vessel has the option of up to two analog voltage outputs, A and B.
3. Enter the number of the corresponding Probe that will be used for acquiring the data in the YSI
Electrode for Analog output X
box. For example, if glucose is the desired substrate and glucose
analysis will be performed by the first electrode (Probe 1A), enter 1 for the YSI electrode.
1 = Probe 1A
2 = Probe 1B
