2. Remove both the sample and waste pump tubing from the pump head by pulling the tubing out the front.
3. Disconnect the sample line pump tubing from the manifold and from the Monitor Cup sample tubing by
unscrewing the Luer lock fittings.
4. Disconnect the waste line pump tubing from the waste bottle tubing and from the Monitor Cup waste tubing by
unscrewing the Luer lock fittings.
5. Discard the used tubing per the laboratory guidelines for chemical and biohazardous waste disposal.
6. Install NEW pump tubing as described in Section 2.2.2.1 Peristaltic Pump Tubing.
5.2.2 Waste and Reagent Bottle Lines
The following procedure applies to both the waste and reagent bottles.
1. Disconnect the waste bottle line from the waste bottle cap connector and from the left connection of the
waste pump tubing.
2. Disconnect the reagent bottle line from the reagent bottle cap connector and from the manifold connector.
3. Discard the used tubing set per the laboratory guidelines for chemical and biohazardous waste disposal.
4. Clean the bottles as described in Section 5.3.2.1 Waste and Reagent Bottles.
5. Carefully remove the new bottle line from its package.
