Air bubbles in sample line
Cause: Loose fittings.
Solution: Check all fittings, and tighten if loose. If this does not resolve the problem, then contact technical support.
2900 Series Analyzer is not working
Cause: 2900 Series Analyzer does not process delivered sample.
Solution: Check for fluid delivery to 2900 Series Analyzer. If no fluid is being delivered, check fluid path for leaks and/or
blockage. Follow procedures outlined in “No Fluid flow through the Multi-Channel Online Monitor” above. If the
tubing needs changed, make sure the Multi-Channel Online Monitor is powered off. The system will need to be
stopped using the software. Refer to Section 4.6.5 Stopping the Monitor System, for deactivating the sampling
function. After logging out of the software, power off the Multi-Channel Online Monitor. Sampling may be
resumed after the tubing change.
If fluid delivery is working, check 2900 Series Analyzer connectivity to the Multi-Channel Online Monitor.
Ensure the serial communication cable is securely fastened to the 2900 Series Analyzer and the Multi-Channel
Online Monitor communication ports.
Cause: 2900 Series Analyzer does not process delivered sample.
Solution: Change the tubing assembly. Note: Before changing the tubing, make sure the Multi-Channel Online Monitor
is turned off. All vessels will need to be stopped using the software. Refer to the Section 4.6.5 Stopping the
Monitor System, for deactivating the sampling function. After logging out of the software, power off the Multi-
Channel Online Monitor. Sampling may be resumed after the tubing change.
No 2900 Series Analyzer data is displayed in the Online Monitor display
Cause: Analytical data is not imported into the Multi-Channel Online Monitor.
Solution: Check 2900 Series Analyzer connectivity to the Multi-Channel Online Monitor. Ensure serial communication
cable is securely fastened to the 2900 Series Analyzer and the Multi-Channel Online Monitor communication
ports. If the communication cable is secure and the problem persists, call technical support.
Cause: Analytical data is not displayed in the Multi-Channel Online Monitor Data tab.
Solution: Ensure that the date displayed on the analyzer matches the date shown in the Multi-Channel Online Monitor
software application. Also, check the data filter settings in Multi-Channel Online Monitor Data tab. Ensure the
dates and times are set correctly. The Chemistries setting should be switched to the on position. See Section
3.3 Changing the Date and Time Settings, for programming the date, and Section 4.5.4 Chemistry
Configuration.
