Verteilen Sie etwas Räuchermehl in
der Mulde des Ofenbodens.
Füllen Sie die Brennbehälter mit Brenn-
spiritus, aber keinesfalls bei offener
Flamme!
Mit der Luftregulierungsöffnung im Deckel
können Sie die Intensität des Räuchervorgan-
ges bestimmen. Außerdem können Sie durch
die Öffnung ein Thermometer einführen und
kontrollieren, dass die Temperatur einen Wert
von 80° Celsius nicht übersteigt.
Legen Sie das Tropfblech über das Räu-
chermehl.
Stellen Sie den Räucherofen auf den
schwarzen Brennkasten, nachdem Sie zuvor
ein oder beide Gitter in den Ofen eingelegt
haben.
Der Räuchervorgang ist beendet, wenn die
Spiritusbehälter leer sind. Dies kann 20 bis
40 Minuten dauern.
Legen Sie Ihre Fische, die Sie gegebenenfalls vorher
in Räucherlauge eingelegt und auf jeden Fall gut
getrocknet haben, auf das/die Gitter.
Entzünden Sie den Brennspiritus und achten Sie bitte
darauf, dass während des Räucherns die Löcher der
Spiritusbrenner geschlossen sind, damit zwei möglichst
gleichmäßige Flammen den Boden des Räucherofens er-
hitzen. Achten Sie bitte auch darauf, dass die Luftregu-
lierungsöffnung im Deckel zunächst ganz geöffnet ist.
Nach kurzer Zeit wird sich das Räuchermehl in Smoke
verwandeln und Ihre Fische vergolden. Bedenken
Sie bitte, dass der Räucherofen während des Betrieb
sehr heiß werden kann, sorgen Sie auch unbedingt
für einen sicheren Stand.
