7. What supplies are supported?
Visit www.zebra.com for a listing of supplies that will be supported with the
S4M printer. Since the S4M printer supports both 1” and 3” cored media,
existing supplies can be used.
8. What are the connectivity options available on the S4M?
The S4M printer will come standard with Parallel, Serial and a USB
connection. The options include internal ZebraNet PrintServer 10/100baseT
Ethernet and a ZebraNet PrintServer Wireless connection.
9. How much memory is standard on the S4M?
The S4M comes with 8MB DRAM and 4MB flash standard, with an optional
64MB Flash upgrade. The 64MB option is a factory only option and must be
selected when ordering. There is no PCMCIA or compact flash card in the
S4M printer.
10. I have a Direct Thermal version of the S4M, can I upgrade to the Direct
Thermal/Thermal Transfer version?
The Thermal Transfer option must be configured at the time of ordering the
printer. There is no field or factory upgrade to the full thermal transfer version
of the printer.
