Removing the Platen Roller
Assembly
1. Press the media cover button to
open the media cover. Use a TORX
T6 driver to remove the single screw
located on the platen mount plate on
the platen gear end (as shown).
2. Slide the Platen Roller Assembly
(along with one mount plate) out of the
opposite mount plate on the platen
holder to remove (as shown).
Installing the Platen Roller
Assembly
1. Slide the Platen Roller Assembly
(along with one mount plate) into the
platen holder and insert the bearing
end into the hole in the opposite mount
plate (see inset).
2. Use a TORX T6 driver on the screw
to secure the mount plate on the gear
end of the Platen Roller Assembly to
the platen holder (as shown).
