POWER HOOKUP
The Model 16 can be powered by the 9 VAC wall transformer supplied with
the unit or by a customer supplied DC source, as might already be available
for other equipment.
AC Power
The Model 16 is normally powered by a 9 VAC wall transformer. The
current requirements are approximately 500 mA. Any 12 VAC transformer
may be used, regardless whether the source is 115 VAC or 230 VAC, 50
or 60 Hz. The Model 16 is internally protected by a 1 ampere AGA fuse.

DC Power
The Model 16 may be externally powered with a DC supply capable of
delivering 12 to 15 volts at approximately 500 mA with no more than
1% ripple and noise.
COM PORT SWITCH SETTINGS
(PC card version only)
The PC card version of the Model 16 can be configured to work with any of
the standard PC serial communication ports. The switch settings and
associated com port are shown below.
