Format an microSDHC Card
When you insert an optional microSDHC card for the rst time,
it is recommended that you format it on your phone.
1. From the home screen, touch >
Settings
.
2. Touch
Storage
.
3. Touch the microSDHC card name below
Portable storage
.
4. Touch
Format
, and then touch
Erase & format
to conrm.
All data on the microSDHC card is erased, and the card is
formatted for use on your phone. Touch
Done
to exit.
Use a microSDHC Card as Internal Storage
You can use an optional microSDHC card as an extension
of the internal storage and save data and media les on it.
This requires formatting that erases all data on the card and
after that the card will only work in this phone. If you move the
microSDHC card to another device, it needs to be formatted
before it can be used.
CAUTION:
As part of the internal storage, the microSDHC card may have
data on it that is necessary for some apps to function normally.
Therefore, do not remove or replace the card randomly.
