Use a Screen Unlock Pattern
1. From the Screen lock menu, touch
Pattern
.
2. Choose whether you want to further protect your phone
with the screen lock before it starts up, and then touch
Continue
.
3. Draw the screen unlock pattern by connecting at least four
dots in a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal direction. Lift your
nger from the screen when nished.
4. Touch
Continue
.
5. When prompted, draw the screen unlock pattern again, and
then touch
Conrm
.
6. Choose how to show notications on the lock screen and
then touch
Done
.
If you fail to draw the correct unlock pattern on the screen
after ve attempts, you will be prompted to wait for 30 seconds
before you can try again.
NOTES:
• Turn off the
Make pattern visible
switch if you do not want
the unlock pattern to display on the screen when you unlock
it.
• To change your unlock screen pattern, from the home
screen, touch
> Settings > Security > Screen lock
