Ifheatingfacilitieshavebeeninstalledintheequipmentroom,
novalveorairoutletmustbeleftwithintheroom.Aircondition-
ingequipmentmustcomplywithindoortemperatureandhumidity
requirements.Moreover ,damagestoequipmentcausedbystatic
electricityandinterferenceonequipmentbytheelectromagnetic
eldmustbeavoided.
BeforeinspectingtheindoorenvironmentofNOCroom,thefol-
lowingrequirementsmustbemet.
�Static-freeRequirements
Equipmentroommustbelaidwithantistaticoororsemi-con-
ductiveoorleather .Inaddition,copperfoilsmustbeusedfor
groundingatseveralpoints.
Makesurethecopperfoilsarepressedbetweencementoor
andsemi-conductiveoor ,whichisconnectedwiththeground-
ingcable.
�Protectionagainstelectro-magneticinterference
Electriceldintensitymustbelessthan300mV/m.Magnetic
eldintensitymustbelessthan11GS.
�DustproofRequirement
�Dustparticledensitywithadiameterthatisgreaterthan5
micrometersmustbelessthan30000/m

�Dustparticlesmustbenon-conductive,non-magneticin-
ductiveandnon-corrosive.
�Thefollowingdustproofmeasuresarerecommended:
–Doorsandwindowsmustbesealed.Theexternalwin-
dowsmustbesealedwithdouble-layerglassandthe
doorsmustbesealedwithdustproofsealingstrips.The
idealconditionistosealequipmentroomwithashutter
equippedwithadustlterdevice.
–Workclothesandslippersmustbekeptcleanand
changedregularly.
–Itisrecommendedtoplaceoperationequipment
inouterroom,avoidingfrequentaccessandopen-
ing/closingofequipmentroomdoor .
–Keepahigherrelativehumiditywithinthepermissible
rangeinequipmentroomtoreducestaticadherenceof
dust.
–Wallsandceilingofequipmentroommustbepaintedor
pastedwithwallpaper .Thisisbettertouselusterless
paint.
