NetFlowIntroduction
NetFlowisaprotocolusedtomonitornetworktrafc.Thereareexporterandcollector
usedinNetFlowapplicationenvironment.TheexportercollectsIPdatapacketsandsend
themtocollector.Thecollectorisresponsibleforanalyzing.
Netowcantraceandmeasureeachowaccurately.Itbringsthefollowingapplications,
lNetworklayout
Netowcancounttheinformationofnetworkowforalongtime.Therefore,itcan
traceandestimatethetrendofnetworkowincreasingordecreasing.Thus,add
orremoveroutedevicesorupgradeordegradethebandwidthofroutedevicesif
required.Inthisway,thenetworkoperationismorereasonable.
lAnalyzenewapplication
Netowcollectsthenetworkusageinformationofanewapplicationprotocol.By

ingressandegressontheinterfaces.Forexample,ifthesamplerateis2000:1,then
sampleonepacketfromevery2000packets.NetFlowcansampleunicast,multicast
orMultiProtocolLabelSwitching(MPLS)packetsrespectivelyorhybridly.
