lCheckbeforepower-on:
1.CheckwhethertheZXV10ET501terminalisstable.Iftheproductshakesduring
operation,conferencesareaffected.
2.EnsurethatpowerandvoltageareintherangesrequiredbytheZXV10ET501.
Fortheoperatingvoltagerange,refertoT able7-1.
3.Ensurethatallcablesareconnectedcorrectlyandrmly.
lPower-onsteps:
1.Turnonthemainpowerswitchofthevideoconferencingsystem.
2.Poweronthemonitor,PA,andotherperipheraldevices,andensurethatthey
operateproperly.
3.ConnectpowertotheZXV10ET501,andpressthepowerswitchonthefront
panellightly.
àPowersurgeoccurswhenanexternaldeviceispoweredonoroff,
transmittinginterferencesignalstotheZXV10ET501andprobablycausing
astartupfailureorfaultontheZXV10ET501.Externaldevicesmustbe
poweredonbeforetheZXV10ET501isstarted.
àAftertheZXV10ET501isstarted,checkthestatusindicator.Theindicator
islitbluewhentheZXV10ET501operatesproperly.
Note:
àTheperipheralssufferaninrushcurrentwhentheyarepoweredupandshut
down,andasaresulttheysendinterferencesignalstotheterminal.Thismay
causeastartupfailure.Thus,youshouldpoweruptheperipheralsbeforestarting
upthesystem.
àAftertheZXV10ET501terminalstartsup,youshouldchecktheindicatorsonthe
frontpanel.TheRUNindicatorashesyellowgreenwhenthesystemoperates
properly.
