Cutting wires of wiring to which connects voltage relay should
meet the value of electric current, which consumes voltage.
It is also necessary to take into account that the load power
of 3 000 VA at 220 V will be 4 400 VA at 270 V. Therefore,
please, do not allow the relay power handling to exceed its
certified value at the maximum voltage deviation to the
upper limit. If the relay power handling exceeds its certified
value use the electric contactor (magnetic starter, power
relay) which is designed for this power capacity see
diagram 3 in the manual with the appendix on the website,
which is listed under Contacts section

should beequipped with standard mounting rail 35 mm
width (DIN rail). The appliance takes in width of 3 standard
module on 18 mm. The height of the appliance should be
in the range 0,5...1,7 m from the floor.
Terminals of the device designed for wire cross section 2
up to 16 mm². It is advisable to use a soft wire, which is
tightened in the terminals with a screwdriver with a tip
width of no more than 6 mm with a torque of 2.4 Nm. A
screwdriver with a blade more than 6 mm wide can cause
mechanical damage to the terminals. Doing so will void
your warranty claim.
For protection against short circuit and excess capacity in
circuit load necessarily need to set in front of the
appliance, the automatic circuit-breaker (QF). The
automatic switch off is established in the open-phase fault
wire, as shown at the schemes 1, 3. To protect person
from electric shock leak is set safety shutdown device.
The appliance is intended for installation inside residences
The risk of moisture or humidity in the installation site
should be minimal. The ambient temperature during the
installation should be within –5...+45 °С.

Do you have a question about the Zubr D25t and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The ZUBR D25t, D32t, D40t, D50t, D63t series of voltage relays are professional overvoltage protection devices designed to safeguard electrical equipment from critical mains voltage surges. They are suitable for use with sensitive equipment such as refrigerators, TVs, video and audio equipment, and computers.

Function Description:

The primary function of the ZUBR Dt device is to monitor the mains voltage and disconnect the load if the voltage deviates beyond user-defined upper and lower limits. This prevents damage to connected appliances. Once the voltage returns to a safe range and a set delay time has passed, the device automatically reconnects the load. The device also incorporates protection against internal overheating, which can be caused by factors like poor terminal contact, high ambient temperature, or excessive power output. In case of overheating, the device will display "oht" and disconnect the load. It will automatically resume operation once the internal temperature drops. If overheating protection triggers multiple times within 24 hours, the device will lock until the temperature drops and a button is pressed. The device also logs up to 50 events where the load was interrupted due to voltage deviations or overheating.

  • Relay Type: Electromagnetic, polarized.

Usage Features:

  • Installation: The device is intended for indoor installation within residences, in a special box with a 35 mm DIN rail. It occupies 3 standard modules (18 mm width each) and should be installed 0.5-1.7 m from the floor. An automatic circuit-breaker (QF) must be installed in front of the appliance for short-circuit and overcurrent protection. A safety shutdown device should be used for electric shock protection. Terminals are designed for 2 to 16 mm² wires; soft wires are recommended, tightened with a screwdriver (tip width no more than 6 mm, torque 2.4 Nm).
  • Initial Operation: Upon power-up, the device displays the current voltage. If the voltage is normal, the load is connected after a set delay, and a green indicator lights up. If the voltage is outside the limits, its value will flash alternately with "U¯¯" (over upper limit) or "U__" (under lower limit).
  • Navigation and Settings: Use the "=" button to navigate the menu. The "+" and "-" buttons are used to change parameters. Pressing a button once makes the parameter flash; pressing it a second time changes the parameter. After 5 seconds of inactivity, the display returns to the mains voltage. All settings are stored in non-volatile memory.
  • Setting Trip Limits: Factory settings are 242V (upper) and 198V (lower). These can be adjusted using the "+" and "-" buttons. It is crucial to refer to the technical documentation of the protected equipment when setting these limits.
  • Delay in Load Starting After a Failure: During a voltage jump, an emergency situation is displayed for 1.5 seconds, followed by a flashing dot and countdown. For delays longer than 100 seconds, the current voltage with a flashing dot is displayed; for shorter times, a countdown is shown. For refrigeration equipment with a compressor, a delay of 120-180 seconds is recommended to increase service life.
  • Reset to Factory Settings: Hold the three buttons ("-", "+", "=") until "dEF" appears on the screen. After release, the device will reset, reboot, and clear the alarm log.
  • Correction of Voltage: The device allows for voltage correction (±20 V) if its readings differ from a reference device.
  • Overheating Protection: The device has internal overheating protection. If the internal temperature exceeds 80 °C, the load is disconnected, and "oht" flashes. Operation resumes when the temperature drops below 60 °C. If this protection triggers more than 5 times within 24 hours, the device locks until the temperature drops below 60 °C and a button is pressed.
  • Error "Ert": If "Ert" displays every 5 seconds, it indicates an open or short circuit of the internal overheating sensor. The device should be sent to a Service Center.
  • Load Power Considerations: It's important to note that load power increases with voltage. For example, 3000 VA at 220 V becomes 4400 VA at 270 V. Do not allow the relay's power handling to exceed its certified value at maximum voltage deviation. If the required power exceeds the device's capacity, an external electric contactor (magnetic starter, power relay) designed for the higher capacity should be used.

Maintenance Features:

  • Safety Instructions: Read the instructions carefully before installation and operation. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician. Always disconnect power before installation or disconnection. Operate the device with dry hands. Do not connect a disassembled device. Avoid water or moisture. Do not expose to extreme temperatures (-5°C to +45°C) or high humidity. Do not clean with chemicals like benzene or solvents. Store in dust-free areas. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device. Do not exceed the specified load and power. Use a lightning protector to guard against overvoltage caused by lightning discharges. Keep children away from the working device.
  • Troubleshooting: If the device is not working properly, first check the "Possible problems" section in the manual. If issues persist, contact the Service Center.
  • Warranty: The warranty is valid for 60 months from the date of sale, provided instructions are followed. For products without a warranty certificate, the period is counted from the date of production. Defective devices will be repaired or replaced under warranty within 14 business days.
  • Disposal: The product does not contain harmful substances. At the end of its service life, it must be disposed of according to applicable law and not with household waste.
  • Transportation: Goods are transported in packaging that ensures product safety, by any kind of transport (rail, sea, motor, air).
  • Manufacturing Date: The date of manufacture is on the back side of the device.
  • Application Time: Unlimited.
