16.5 MAC Filtering
Use this screen to create rules for traffic going through the Switch. Click Security
> MAC Address > MAC Filtering in the navigation panel to display the screen as
shown.

The following table describes the fields in the screen.
Table 40 Security > MAC Address > Static MAC
LABEL DESCRIPTION
MAC Address Enter the MAC address in valid MAC address format, that is, six
hexadecimal character pairs.
Static MAC addresses do not age out.
VLAN ID Enter the VLAN identification number the MAC address belongs to.
Port Enter the port where the MAC address entered will be automatically
forwarded.
Add Click Add to save your changes to the Switch.
No. This is the index number for the MAC address forwarding entries.
MAC Address This field displays the MAC address that will be forwarded.
VLAN ID This is the VLAN group to which the MAC address belongs.
Port This field displays the port where the MAC address will be forwarded.
Select Click on the checkbox for the MAC address forwarding entry you want to
delete.
Delete Click this to delete any selected MAC address entries.
