10.6.1 Policy-based Priority - Add/Modify
Click Configuration > QoS > Policy-based Priority > Add or Modify to display
the screen as shown next.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Name Type a descriptive name for the policy. This is for identification purpose
only.
Destination
MAC
Address
To specify a destination, type a MAC address in valid MAC address format
(six hexadecimal character pairs).
Mask Enter the mask of the Destination MAC Address.
Source MAC
Address
To specify a source, type a MAC address in valid MAC address format (six
hexadecimal character pairs).
Mask Enter the mask of the Source MAC Address.
Destination
IP Address
Enter a destination IP address in dotted decimal notation.
Mask Enter the subnet mask of the Destination IP Address.
Source IP
Address
Enter a source IP address in dotted decimal notation.
Mask Enter the subnet mask of the Source IP Address.
VLAN ID Type the VLAN ID for which this rule will apply. Specify 0 to ignore this field.
TCP/UDP
Destination
Port
Type the destination port number to which the rule should be applied. Type
0 to ignore this field. See Appendix B on page 171 for a list of common
services.

Type the source port number to which the rule should be applied. Type 0 to
ignore this field. See Appendix B on page 171 for a list of common services.
Ether Type Specify an Ethernet type in hexadecimal value.
