This section provides information for LLDP in Co nfig ura tio n.
Use the Link La ye r Disc o ve ry Pro toc ol (LLDP) screens to configure LLDP Switch settings.
28.2 LLDP
This page allows the user to inspect and configure the current LLDP port settings.
28.2.1 The G lo ba l Sc re e n
Use this screen to configure the G lob a l settings. Click Config ura tio n > LLDP > G lob a l to open this screen.

State Select Ena ble to activate the global LLDP.
Transmission
Interval
Enter the transmission interval value.
The switch periodically transmits LLDP frames to its neighbors for having the network discovery
information up-to-date. The interval between each LLDP frame is determined by the Tx Interval
value. Valid values are restricted to 5 – 32768 seconds.
