The following table describes the labels in this screen.
16.8 The VoIP Route Screen
Use this screen to set up and maintain routing for the VoIP line cards. The routing table contains
entries that, based on the line card slot number and destination IP address or subnet, determine
where the system forwards packets from the line cards.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Slot Enter the slot number of the line card you want to configure.
IP Enter the IP address the line card uses for VoIP communications.
Enter the IP address in dotted decimal notation. For example, 192.168.1.100.
Mask Enter the number of bits in the VoIP line card’s subnet mask.
Vid Enter the number of the VLAN that this static VoIP line card is to use.
DNS Enter the DNS server’s IP address for this VoIP line card.
Apply Click Apply to save the changes in this screen to the system’s volatile memory. The system
loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the Config Save link on the
navigation panel and then the Save button to save your changes to the non-volatile memory
when you are done configuring.
Cancel Click this to start configuring the screen again.
Slot This displays a VoIP line card’s slot number.
IP Mask This displays a VoIP line card’s IP address, if one is configured (if an IP address is not
configured, 0.0.0.0 displays).
Vid This displays a VoIP line card’s VLAN ID, if one is configured (if a VLAN ID is not configured, 0
displays).
DNS This displays a VoIP line card’s DNS server IP address, if configured (if a DNS server IP address
is not configured, 0.0.0.0 displays).
Select Select the line card you wish to modify.
Modify Select a line card and click this in order to edit its configuration.
