The following example displays the PPVCs configured on the port 5 on the line card in slot 7. It also
displays VLAN information.
29.28.6 port ppvc vlan Command
Syntax:
port ppvc vlan <slot-port-vpi/vci> <vid> <registration> <tag>
where
This command adds a PPVC to a VLAN or removes a PPVC from a VLAN. It also sets whether the
PPVC accepts incoming Ethernet frames with or without a VLAN tag.
The following example adds the PPVC on ADSL port 5 in line card 7 with VPI 8 and VCI 35 to VLAN
28.

The slot and port(s) and VPI/VCI of the PPVC.
<vid>
=
The VLAN ID. Valid parameter range = [1 – 4094].
This must be the VLAN ID of a VLAN that is already configured. The ports
specified in this command must also be set to the fixed status in the VLAN.
<registration>
=
The VLAN membership setting.
join: Adds the PVC to the VLAN.
leave: Removes the PVC from the VLAN.
<tag>
=
The VLAN tagging setting.
tag: The specified port(s) accept only incoming Ethernet frames that have a
VLAN tag.
untag: The specified port(s) accept only incoming Ethernet frames that do
not have a VLAN tag.
