INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
TheGo!BridgeIPCommunicator™(2GIG‐BRDG1‐900)providesInternet
connectivitybetweenthemonitoringservice’sCentralStationandthe
Go!Control®Panel,whenthepanelisusedasahouseholdburglaralarm
system.
Itsupportsautomaticfirmwareupdates,providesinteractivesecurity
services,andincreasessupervisionusingsignal‐forwardingtotheCentral
Station.For
wirelesscommunicationwiththeControlPanel,the900MHz
TransceiverModule(2GIG‐XCVR)mustbeinstalledinthepanel.For
Internetaccess,theGo!Bridgemustbeconnectedtothelocalnetwork
routerusinganEthernetcable(notprovided).

Requirements
Befor eyouinstall,program,andtesttheGo!BridgeIPCommunicator,
ensurethecontrolpanelbeingpairedwiththeGo!BridgeIP
Communicatormeetstheserequirements:
•FirmwareVersion1.12(orhigher)
•2GIG‐XCVR900MHzTransceiver
IMPORTANT: ForcompliancewithUL1023:HouseholdBurglar‐
AlarmSystemUnits,theGo!Bridgemustbeinstalledinthe
sameroomastheInternetmodemorrouter.
NOTE: Toprotectdatasentviathelocalwirelessnetwork,itis
recommendedthatyouinstalltheGo!BridgeIPCommunicatoron
alocalnetworkwhereeitherWPA(Wi‐FiProt ectedAccess)or
WPA2(Wi‐FiProtectedAccessII)encryptionisalreadyenabled.
Afterinstalling,programming,andtestingtheGo!BridgeIP
Communicator,youwillneedtoregisteranewcustomerwiththethird‐
partymonitoringservice.SeeRegistrationonpage3.

Powering ON the Go!Bridge IP Communicator
UsethesestepstopowerONtheGo!BridgeIPCommunicator:
1 Attachthepowersupplytothebracket(provided)asfollows:
1a Insertthepowersupplyintotheenclosureontheplasticbracket.
SeeCinthefigurebelow.
1b Securethepowersupplytotheretainingbracketbythreadinga
ziptiethroughthebracket’sslots.SeeDinthefigurebelow.
1c Removethestripfromtheself‐adhesivebackingonthepower
supplybracket.
1d Affixtheadhesiveonthebrackettothewalloutlet.Thensecure
thebrackettotheoutletwiththewallsocketscrew(provided).
NOTE: AlwaysusetheprovidedpowersupplybracketintheUnited
States(andothercountrieswhereitisrequired).Canadadoesnot
requirethepowersupplyretainingbracket.

NOTE: Toprotectsurfacesfromdamage,affixtheself‐adhesivevinyl
bumperstotheunitorstand.
4 Verifythatthetwo(2)LEDsontheGo!BridgeIPCommunicator
