INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The2GIG4‐ButtonKeyfobRemote(2GIG‐KEY2‐345)communicates
withthe2GIGControlPanelonthe345MHzfrequency.Itgivesusers
theabilitytoturnthesecuritysystemONandOFFbeforeenteringthe
homeorafterexiting.Ifthereisanemergency,youcanturnonthe
siren
andautomaticallycallthecentralmonitoringstation.Keyfobs
canbeprogrammedtooperatetheprogrammableoutputinthe
ControlPanel.Usewiththe2GIGUniversalGarageDoorReceiver
(2GIG‐GDR1‐345)toopenagaragedoor.Thekeyfobisalithiumcoin
battery‐powered,wirelesskeyfobdesignedtofiton
akeychain,ina
pocket,orinapurse.Itprovidesaconvenientoptionforthefollowing
systemoperations:
•Armthesystem(doors,windows,andmotionsensors)
•Armthesystemwithnoentrydelay(ifprogrammed)
•Disarmthesystem
•Triggerpanicalarms
•Turnsystem‐controlledlightsonoroff(viatheopen

•Program(learn)thekeyfobsintothecontrolpanelasnon‐
supervisedsensors.
•Eachlearnedkeyfobusesoneoftheavailablesensornumbers.

•Pressandreleasethelearnbutton.
•Thelearnindicatorwilllightifthere’sroominmemory
•Activatethe*(Auxiliary)buttononthetransmitterwhilethe
indicatorislit
(within15seconds)
• Receive rindicatorflashes
•Repeatstepsforadditionaltransmitters(upto10)

Testthekeyfobbypressingeachoneofthekeyfobbuttons:
• Disarmbutton.Holdfortwo (2)secondstodisarmtheControl
Panel.Door s,windows,andmotionsensorsaredisarmed.
• Awaybutton.
Holdfortwo(2)secondstoarmtheControl
PanelinAwaymode.Doors,windows,andmotionsensorsare
armed.
• Staybutton.Holdfortwo(2)secondstoarmtheControlPanel
inStaymode.Doorsandwindowsarearmed.
• Auxiliarybutton.Ifprogrammed,cantriggerapre‐selected

• Away&Disarmbuttons.Ifprogrammed,pressingBOTHthe
AwayandDisarmbuttonsatthesametimeforfive(5)
seconds,willsendoneoffourtypesofemergencysignals:(1)
silentpanic;(2)audiblealarm;(3)silentpanic;
or(4)fire.
NOTE: Itisrecommendedthatasystemtestbeperformedper
theControlPanel’sInstallation&ProgrammingGuideatleast
onceayear.
Inserting and Replacing the Battery
Thekeyfobarrivesreadytouse(batteriesalreadyinstalled).
Toreplacethebattery:
1 Removethescrewfromthebackofthekeyfob.
2 Separatethekeyfob’sfaceplatefromitsbackpl ate.
3 Slidetheexistingbatteryoutfromunderthemetalbatteryclipon
theprintedcircuitboard.
IMPORTANT: Alwaysdisposeand/orrecycleusedbatteriesin
accordancewiththehazardouswasterecoveryandre cycling
regulationsforyourlocation.Yourcity,state,orcountrymay
alsorequireyoutocomplywithadditionalhandling,recycling,
anddisposalrequirements.
4 Insertthereplacementbatteryintothemetalbatterycliponthe
printedcircuitboard.Theplus(+)signonthebatteryshouldbe
facingupandtheminus(‐)sidefacingdownasillustratedbelow.
