Usage Features:
- Resolution Settings: The mainboard offers three video output resolutions (1280x720 for HDMI, 1280x720/640x480 for VGA, and 384x224 for JAMMA RGBS). To change the resolution, power off the device, press and hold the setting button, then power on. Release the button after 3 seconds. The resolution will cycle through the available options. LED indicators on the back of the mainboard show the current resolution. The factory default is 1280x720.
- Setting Menu Access: The setting menu can be accessed by pressing the setting button from the game menu or during gameplay.
- IO Test: This feature allows users to test the connection status of the coin selector, joystick, and console buttons.
- Custom Button Mapping:
- Default Key Map: For JAMMA-connected arcade consoles, hold the 1P or 2P start button for 3 seconds to enter custom mapping mode. Follow on-screen prompts to map A-H buttons. Press 1P start to save custom buttons and return. Individual buttons can be customized, and pressing 1P start again will auto-assign other buttons.
- Gamepad Custom: Standard gamepads can be connected via USB for customization. (Note: CX arcade version 1.0 does not have this feature.)
- Restore Default Custom Button: Options to restore console default buttons or gamepad default settings.
- System Configuration:
- Credit Setting: Configures the game mode as "free play" (family mode with default pause and exit options) or "coin mode" (1:1 to 9:1, 1:2 to 1:9 credit ratios).
- Exit Game Mode: In coin mode, this setting determines how to exit back to the game menu. Options include "Menu Exit" (hold 1P start for 3 seconds to show an exit menu, saving coins), "1P start + coin" (hold 1P start, insert 1 coin to exit, coin is valid for other games), and "Hold 1P start 3 sec." (hold 1P start for 3 seconds to directly exit, no coin saving). These can be combined with the "Pause Menu: ON" setting for quick exit.
- Pause Menu: [ON]/[OFF] option for quick exit, especially useful with "Exit Game Mode" settings. Requires expanding a button to the solder side T pin signal and GROUND for display and use.
- Auto Exit: [ON] will auto-exit to the game menu if no joystick or button input for 3 minutes. [OFF] disables this function.
- Select Game Mode: Determines if a coin insert is needed to select games. In "Menu Exit" or "1P start+coin" modes, "Always" allows game selection without a coin, while "With Coin" requires a coin.
- Quality Optimization: This option is not enabled.
- Scanning Line: [ON]/[OFF] to simulate CRT monitor display on LCD screens, reproducing classic arcade visuals.
- Timer Mode:
- "Home Game Timer Only": Arcade games use coin mode, home games use timer mode.
- "All Timer": Both arcade and home games use timer mode.

- Difficult & Lifes Setting: Press A to enter the menu. Move the joystick to select a game, press A to set difficulty, B to set lives (games without number display cannot be set). Press C to set the selected game to a unified standard setting. Press 1P start to go back.
- Edit Games List: Press B to enter the display/hide game setting menu. Move the joystick to select a game, press A to display/hide it (a red icon indicates a hidden game). Press B to display all games. To auto-run a specific game on power-on, select it and press C to hide all other games. Press 1P start to go back.
- Edit Favorite List: Press B to enter the favorite list. Move the joystick to select a game, press A to favorite it (a yellow star icon appears). Favorited games appear at the top of the game menu (up to 99 games). Press C to cancel all favorites. Press 1P start to go back.
- Book Keeping: The mainboard records all inserted coins. To clear records or change the password, enter the default password (55555555). Use joystick up/down to change numbers, left/right to navigate. After entering, you can clear coin records and change the password. Remember to keep the new password safe.
- Boot Demo Movies: If a game is locked in the edit game list, selecting [OFF] will prevent the mainboard from displaying boot demo videos on power-on.
- Save Setting: Press A to save settings. Select [YES] to save all settings. The screen will show "SAVING..." and the mainboard will auto-restart. Do not turn off power during saving.
- Factory Setting: Select [YES] to restore factory settings.
Maintenance Features:
