Why is water backing up into the cannula of my 3B Medical Equipment?
Water can back up into the cannula due to temperature differences causing rainout, if the concentrator is too close to a wall, draperies, or furniture, or excessive tubing is separating you and the concentrator. To resolve this, dry the inside of the humidifier cap, avoid using hot water, and do not overfill the humidifier. Keep the equipment and cannula at the same temperature by placing the concentrator in the same room as you.
