5.3. Click the Start motor button. Then the unit moves a little, which is not always visible.
5.4. Select the smallest step unit at Motor limit. Set a step value at Motor movement to move the motor.
Caution!
If you are unsure, set low values and reach the desired position gradually. Setting 1000 steps is normally OK for most motors.
5.5. Clicking the Motor movement plus and minus buttons, navigate the unit to the intended position.
5.6. Save this position clicking the Set test start position button. The software will start the step test from here.
5.7. Define the movement coordinates adjusting the Test movement slide (for example, +500 steps).
5.8. Clicking the Test button, the unit will move +500 steps from the test start position and then -500 steps back.
6. Click the Start motor button to wake P1000 up and click Test motor. If the units are correctly set, a green tick appears in the related boxes. The
Validate button only activates if all motors have passed the test.
7. Validate the results and save.
