Introduction
This user manual is designed for use
with your laser barcode scanner. For
more detailed information, please down-
load the complete manual from our
website http://www.3nStar.com or obtain it
from your dealer.
Installation
Installing keyboard wedge scanner
1) Make sure you are using the right cable
to connect the scanner to your system.
2) Turn off the power to the system or
computer.
3) Unplug the keyboard from the system.
4) Connect Y cable to the system and the
keyboard.
5) Turn on the power to the system or
computer.
6) When indicator LED lights, and buzzer
sounds, the system is ready to scan.
Installing the RS-232 interface scanner
1) Make sure there is a power supply for the
scanner.
2) Connect the cable to the RS-232C port of
the device.
3) Make sure the host device has the correct
communication program (Xcom, program,
Hyperterminal) before transmitting data.
Installing USB interface scanner
When installing a USB interface scanner,
plug in the USB connections and Windows
will detect the unit automatically.
