Function Description
The AA Products Inc. truck rack is a universal basic pick-up truck rack designed for lumber, kayak, and utility transport. It features an extendable cross-bar design, making it compatible with a wide variety of different truck models. The unit is powder-coated with weather-resistant paint for durability and longevity. The manual details installation instructions for three different truck ladder racks catering to different customer needs:
- X35-A: Single Bar Extendable Pick-up Truck Ladder Rack.
- X35: 800LB Capacity Extendable Truck Ladder Rack.
- X35+8CLAMP: This model also comes with eight aluminum C-clamps for non-drilling installation. The No-Drilling assembly method applies to C-Clamp Mounting Installation.

Usage Features
The truck rack is designed for easy assembly and versatile use.
Assembling the Rack:
- Connect Cross-Bars and T-Bars: Install one set of the rack for positioning; connect the cross-bar with a pair of T-bars forming a top section, connect the top section with a pair of upright poles. Ensure not to tighten any hex-nuts on the T-bars at this stage.
- Mounting Installations:
- X35 series: Provides flexible installations that customers can freely choose one of the followings, feel free to consult us if you need any assistance.
- Direct Bolt-on Installation (FOR MODEL: X35-A / X35):
- Set position for the mounting plates by putting the single bar set onto your truck bed. Mark the drilling holes with a marker on the bed-rail; drill the holes out. Repeat this for the other side.
- Set bolts, nuts, and washers (two for each mounting plate), after tightening one side of the mounting plate, make sure the rack is aligned before tightening the other side.
- After bolting all mounting plates, adjust the middle cross-bar, make sure it has equal range sleeved inside both T-bars, tighten all the hex-nuts on the T-bars using the Allen-wrench provided.
- Assembly Completion: Check all mounting hardware to ensure tightness.
- C-CLAMP Mounting Installation (FOR MODEL: X35+8CLAMP): The C-Clamps installation might be limited due to different bed-rail structures varied from different Make & Models, cutting of bed-liners might be required for C-Clamp Mounting installation.
- Clean bedrails. Put the rack set onto the vehicle’s truck bed. Install the semi-assemble rack set on the truck bed with C-Clamps (two for each). Make sure both uprights aligned then tighten all the bolts for security. Repeat procedure for other semi-assemble rack set.
- Check all mounting hardware to insure tightness.
- Assembly Completion: Check all mounting hardware to ensure tightness.

Maintenance Features
- Regular Inspection: Loads must be secure according to local height and defecation regulations and/or laws. Secured loads and connections must be re-checked periodically for tightness.
- Cleaning: The powder-coated finish is designed for weather resistance, suggesting standard cleaning practices to maintain its appearance and prevent corrosion.
- Warranty: AA Products Inc. warrants all black and van products for the life of the product, and all accessories for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Subject to limitations and exclusions described in the warranty statement. This warranty covers defects in structural integrity or defective product but not damage due to improper use, accident, or modifications.
