I
A nozzle can be replaced without affecting the
fun1ction
ofthe
hydraulic nozzle shut-

Inspection and change
ofthe
nozzles are easily done as the burner is constructed with
a swing flange.
Exchanging
of
an oil nozzle:
• Unscrew the lock-nut, and the casing can be sirung out
• F or mounting/dismounting use a spanner and kJep
the
nozzle head fixed by means
of
another
s~anner
..

• After replacmg the nozzle ensure that
ItlS
tight
To prevent entry
of
air into the oil system it is adviJable to close the stop valves in the
suctionintake and return line during exchange
ofilie
nozzle.
As a general rule a nozzle should always beexchanJed
if
it is dirty or worn out. A good
burner performance can only be guaranteed with a hew and/or a clean nozzle.
- I
The nozzles should only be cleaned due to a shortage
of
nozzles.
I
The nozzles should be dismantled into individual pkrts and washed in a suitable fluid
I
such
as
benzine or petrol.
If
available, compresseq air is the most suitable cleaning
medium.
