Summary

Prior to Installation

Installation Warning

The QuikDekClor must be installed by a licensed or certified plumber or a qualified pool professional.

Important Installation Notes

Read manual completely before installation. Consult A&A Mfg for questions. Use ABS to PVC transitional glue for connections.

Product Usage and Warranty Note

Designed for independent return line. Using outside intended purpose may void warranty.

Included Components

Lists all parts included with the QuikDekClor feeder, such as screws, lid, deck ring, lock, seal, stand-pipe, canister, and diverter.

Installation Guidelines

Installation Location Restrictions

DO NOT install the QuikDekClor over steps or benches.

Locating the QuikDekClor

Position the QuikDekClor according to the provided diagram and dimensions.

Setting Installation Height

Poured Concrete Decks

Set canister 2" above bond beam, positioning balance line 15" below form top.

Travertine/Thin Decks

Set canister flush with bond beam, positioning balance line 17" below form top.

Finalizing Glued Connection

Adjust lid and deck-ring after desired height is set and connection is made.

Plumbing the Balance Line

Installing Balance Line Pipe

Glue a 2-inch pipe into canister, dry-fit 90° elbow. Glue 18-inch pipe to elbow and cap.

Positioning Balance Line

Configure balance line to extend into pool at a 90° angle to the wall.

Plumbing the Feed Line

Connecting to Main-line

Plumb main-line from filter, use gate-valve below Tee to regulate flow.

Feed Line to Canister

Install 0.75" PVC feed line to canister socket, dry-fit 90° elbow, glue 18-inch pipe and cap.

Canister Preparation and Testing

Drilling Inlet Membrane

Drill out the 0.75" inlet port membrane with a 3/8" drill bit for pressure testing.

Installing Components and Testing

Install male adaptor, cut stand-pipe to length, install diverter, and gravity test connections.

Limited Warranty Information

Warranty Coverage and Exclusions

One-year warranty for defects. Excludes freezing, negligence, improper installation, or use.

Obtaining Warranty Service

Contact place of purchase. Proof of purchase or manufacturing date required.

Record Keeping

Please retain for your records. Record Date of Installation.
