The A&S 2.1 Bar with Wireless Subwoofer 300 is a soundbar system comprising a main unit (soundbar) and a wireless subwoofer. It is designed to provide amplified audio output for televisions and other external audio devices. Usage Features:
General Operation:
- Standby/ON: The unit enters Standby mode when first connected to power. It can be switched ON or OFF using the power button on the unit or remote control. The POWER indicator lights red in Standby mode.
- Auto Standby: The unit automatically switches to Standby mode if there's no input signal (or a weak input signal) in AUX, OPTICAL, COAXIAL, HDMI ARC, or Bluetooth modes for over 15 minutes.
- Source Selection: Users can select input sources (AUX, BLUETOOTH, OPTICAL, COAXIAL, HDMI ARC) using the SOURCE button on the unit or remote control.
- Volume Adjustment: Volume can be adjusted using the VOL+/VOL- buttons on the unit or remote control. The status indicator flashes quickly during adjustment.
- Mute Function: The MUTE button on the remote control can silence the unit or resume sound.
Equalizer (EQ) Effects:
- Preset EQ Modes: The EQ button on the unit or CUSTOM/MOVIE/MUSIC buttons on the remote control allow selection of preset equalizer effects:
- CUSTOM (Default): COAXIAL indicator flashes Orange once.
- MOVIE EQ: OPTICAL indicator flashes White once.
- MUSIC EQ: BT indicator flashes Blue once.
- Custom Bass/Treble Adjustment: In CUSTOM EQ mode, users can press BASS/TREBLE on the remote control, then use VOL+/VOL- to adjust bass/treble levels.
Connectivity:
- HDMI (ARC) Socket: Connects to an ARC-compliant TV for audio return channel functionality. Requires HDMI-CEC and ARC to be enabled on the TV. Allows TV remote control to adjust soundbar volume.

- OPTICAL Socket: Connects to a TV's OPTICAL OUT socket using an OPTICAL cable. Protective caps should be removed before connection.
- AUX Socket: Connects to a TV's audio output sockets or external audio device headphone socket using a 3.5mm audio cable or RCA to 3.5mm audio cable.
- Bluetooth Operation:
- Pairing: To connect a Bluetooth device, select Bluetooth mode on the soundbar (Blue indicator flashes slowly). Search for "A&S Bar 300" on the Bluetooth device and enter "0000" if a password is required. The unit will voice "Paired" and the Blue indicator will light up solidly upon successful pairing.
- Playback: Once paired, music can be streamed from the Bluetooth device. The remote control can be used for play/pause (►II/PAIR button) and track skipping (◄◄,►►I buttons).
- Disconnection: Bluetooth can be disconnected by switching to another function, disabling Bluetooth on the device, or pressing and holding the ►II/PAIR button on the unit or remote control.

Wireless Subwoofer Pairing:
- Automatic Pairing: After plugging in both the soundbar and subwoofer and switching the soundbar ON, they will automatically pair within 30 seconds. The subwoofer's Pair indicator will flash during pairing and light up steadily when successful.
- Manual Pairing: If automatic pairing fails, unplug both units for 3 minutes, then plug them back in. Press and hold the PAIR switch on the subwoofer until the Pair indicator blinks rapidly, then switch the soundbar ON. The Pair indicator will become solid upon successful manual pairing.
Placement and Installation:
- Table Placement: The soundbar can be placed directly in front of the TV stand, centered with the TV screen.
- Wall Mounting: The soundbar can be mounted on the wall directly below the TV screen using the provided wall bracket screws. Wall mounting should be performed by qualified personnel.
Maintenance Features:
Battery Replacement (Remote Control):
- The remote control uses a CR2025, 3V Lithium battery.
- To replace, push the tab on the side of the battery tray, slide the tray out, remove the old battery, insert a new CR2025 battery with correct polarity (+/-), and slide the tray back in.
- Precautions: Remove the battery if the remote control will not be used for a long time. Do not heat, disassemble, throw in fire/water, or store with metallic objects. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Cleaning:
- Clean the unit only with a dry cloth. Avoid chemical solvents.
Troubleshooting:
- No Power: Check AC cord connection, power at the outlet, and press the standby button.
- Remote Control Not Working: Ensure correct source is selected, reduce distance to unit, check battery polarity, replace battery if needed, and aim directly at the sensor.
- Bluetooth Device Not Found: Ensure Bluetooth is activated on the device and the unit is paired. If not found, press and hold the ►II/PAIR button on the unit or remote control to enter pairing mode.
- Auto Turn Off (AUX Source): This is a power-saving feature (ERPII standard). Increase the TV input audio level or the external input audio level to ensure sufficient signal.
- Subwoofer Idle/Indicator Off: Unplug the power cord from the mains socket, wait 4 minutes, and plug it back in to reset the subwoofer.

- Dispose of batteries according to state and local guidelines.
- Battery Ingestion Hazard: The remote control contains a coin/button cell battery. Keep new and used batteries away from children. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowed.
- Product Disposal: This product should not be disposed of with household waste. Recycle responsibly through return and collection systems.
