Overview

The ABUS FUBE50011 is a wireless remote control designed for arming and disarming alarm systems, indicating their current status, and optionally controlling a switching output. It also features a panic function and can be used with 868 MHz transceivers in the Secvest/Terxon product range.

Function Description:

The remote control allows users to:

  • Arm the alarm system: Pressing the lock button arms the system. If successful, the top LED will light up green. If arming fails, the top LED will light up red.
  • Arm internally: Pressing the asterisk button arms the system internally. If successful, the middle LED will light up green. If internal arming fails, the middle LED will light up red.
  • Disarm the alarm system: Pressing the unlock button disarms the system. If successful, the bottom LED will light up green. If disarming occurs after an alarm, the bottom LED will light up red.
  • Query system status: Pressing the question mark button allows for a status query.
    • If the system is armed, the top LED will light up red.
    • If the system is armed internally, the middle LED will light up red.
    • If the system is disarmed, the bottom LED will light up green.
  • Trigger panic alarm: Simultaneously pressing the lock and unlock buttons triggers a panic alarm. Both the top and bottom LEDs will light up red.
  • Switching output: The asterisk button can also be configured to switch an output. When activated, the middle LED will light up green.
  • Reception time: The remote control has a default reception time of 10 seconds. This can be extended to 20 seconds by pressing the asterisk button. When set to 10 seconds, the middle LED lights up green. When set to 20 seconds, the middle LED lights up red.

Usage Features:

  • Battery insertion: Before use, the 3V lithium battery must be inserted. Upon insertion, all LED pairs (red and green) will light up sequentially, confirming LED functionality. The software version is then displayed by the top two LEDs (main version by flashing red, sub version by flashing green).
  • Learning in: The remote control needs to be "learned in" to the compatible alarm system. Refer to the user guide of the compatible component for detailed instructions.
  • VdS conformal usage: When arming the system, users are not allowed to be in the controlled area. For alarm panels installed according to VdS3438, this device is not permitted for arming or disarming the panel.
  • Non-waterproof: The remote control is not waterproof; direct contact with water should be avoided.

Maintenance Features:

  • Battery replacement: When the battery is empty, the top and bottom LEDs will light up red, indicating the need for replacement. The battery is accessed by opening the casing.
  • Battery handling:
    • Do not dispose of the battery in domestic waste.
    • Do not expose the battery to heat, sunlight, or high temperatures.
    • Do not burn the battery.
    • Do not allow the battery to come into contact with water.
    • Do not dismantle, pierce, or damage the battery.
    • Do not short-circuit the battery contacts.
    • Keep the battery away from small children.
    • The battery cannot be recharged.
  • Disposal: The product contains valuable raw materials and must be disposed of according to WEEE 2002/96 EC directive. Within the EU, the product and its accessories must be collected and disposed of separately. Do not dispose of as domestic waste; contact your dealer or local collection point for electronic waste.
