The bracket opening for inserting the lock must face upward to
prevent the lock from falling out. Please ensure that the lock is

Charging the battery
You can view the battery charge status on the Smart X app. Charge your
770A lock as soon as the app prompts you to do so.
If the battery is depleted, the lock will still provide mechanical security,
but you will be unable to open and close it!
Charge the battery even before a longer period of non-use of the lock
(e.g. winter break).
If you are transporting your
bicycle with a car or trailer,
always remove the lock from
the bracket for the transport
duration!
