Troubleshooting
Before you call for service. . . . . .
A quick check of the Operating Instructions in this manual may prevent an
unnecessary service call. Before calling your authorized Access
Industries' dealer for service, refer to the following checklist . . .
If lift will not operate:
Check for obstructions in the path of the lift.
Check that the swivel seat is in the locked, riding position.
Replace the 9V batteries in the wireless remote controls if necessary.
(make sure the + and - are installed correctly)
If lift will still not operate, contact your local authorized dealer for immediate
service. If your lift needs servicing, use only original replacement parts
and hardware to maintain quality and performance.
Information on Battery Operated Lifts Only:
If the Lift Bleeps After Stopping:
When the lift stops and the 115 VAC power is not connected, the bleeper
will sound for 20 seconds and stop, the control board will then go into
standby mode. Make sure the lift's power cord is plugged into the 115
VAC outlet or check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker at the main
circuit box.
If the Lift Bleeps While Running:
Battery capacity is 30% or less. This may have been caused by:
1) Batteries have not been charged.
2) Heavy use of the lift.
3) The batteries are not holding their charge due to age.
Contact your authorized dealer for service.
If the Lift Runs at Half Speed
Battery capacity is 10% or less. This may have been caused by the
reasons above.
Contact your authorized dealer for service.
