How to use the Accu-Chek Combo pump to give insulin at school
The key worker (or young person) will need to give a bolus of insulin every day when:
• The child/young person’s blood glucose is greater than 14 mmols/L
• Whenever the child/young person has anything to eat or drink containing
carbohydrate
